Rick Belleville believes city government should be honest, open, and easy to understand. A lifelong Festus resident, Rick is a proud Twin City Tiger, SEMO graduate, husband, father, and grandfather.
He has spent years serving the public as a business leader, Election Judge Supervisor, and Planning and Zoning Board member. Rick is not a politician. He is a neighbor who wants to hear your concerns and work with you to protect Festus as it grows.

Data centers aren't a good fit for Festus. Our development should be planned with residential participation and transparency. As a member of the Planning and Zoning Board of Festus, we were only presented with minimal guidelines for the proposed data center without any further information regarding a potential property or contract. This is not how business should be done. Before zoning is approved, additional discussion should always include the residents of Festus, which did not happen. When I am in City Council, I will ensure all parties (residents and city departments) will be involved in discussions before important votes are taken. The people deserve transparency and their right to voice their opinions.
